Set 4 Week 1 : Psyche the Insane Magess

A fair-haired mage, wandering and seemingly half-mad with grief and guilt.

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.

NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.

Cosplay conduct points

1. Weapons

Use only short blades, stones, nets, darts, and untrained unarmed combat. You can still wield magical staves, and artefacts of other weapon types, but not attack with them. You can also use chaos-branded weapons of any type, including ranged weapons and the Mace of Variability.

2. Armour

Wear only light armour (ER 4 or less).

3. Magic

Train Hexes or Evocations to skill level 14.

Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.

Bonus challenges

1. Venus Luxure

Win the game after having obtained the iron rune from Dis, but without killing Dispater.

2. The Things We Do For Love

Perform any three "impossible" tasks from the list below. The wording on these tasks is carefully chosen, so that most tasks have several possible solutions. I'm going to be very lenient as to what qualifies as accomplishing a task, and creativity is encouraged, so if you are wondering "does it count if I..." then the answer is very likely yes. (You can ask anyhow though, if you really need to. Use a spoiler tag if you're posting in the thread.)

When you accomplish a task, take a screenshot, or make a note with : !cosplay, and post the screenshots or write what tasks you did when you post your morgue. If you forget to screenshot/note, you'll have to tell me both what you did and when. You only get credit for tasks that you knowingly complete! The assistance file does not track these tasks, sorry.

1. Get chunks of flesh from a lava serpent.

2. Drown a flying creature.

3. Have 3 friendly elementals of different types in LOS at the same time.

4. Have a friendly undead kraken in LOS.

5. Put at least four status effects on an Orb of Fire at once. Press x and move the cursor over it to verify.

   Clarification: by status effects, I mean descriptors when you move the cursor over it, e.g. "covered in acid" if you corrode one with a wand of acid counts as one status effect.

6. Get Geryon to leave Hell without killing him.

7. Help a slave to kill its master.

8. Kill Boris and Natasha, then reunite them while they are alive.

9. Exit the dungeon and win the game, with a friendly Golden Dragon in view. Annotate with !cosplay before you leave.

Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.

Milestones

• Reach XL3.
• Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
• Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
• Collect your first rune.
• Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
• Collect your third rune.
• Win the game.

The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
