Set 17 Week 5 : Boris, Master of Life and Death

An ancient and powerful lich. Like all true liches, Boris is immortal, and will regenerate his desiccated skeletal remains even if completely disintegrated.

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.

NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.

Cosplay conduct points

1. Lich

If you win the game, you earn these points automatically. If you don't win, you must collect at least 6 runes, over as many games as you require. They don't need to be obtained in the same game or consecutive games, and they don't need to be different runes, as long as they're all MuCj games played within the weekly challenge timeframe. Points will be applied to your best game.

If you play offline, you may need to post multiple morgues. If you play online, linking your best morgue and your player page is enough.

2. Armour

Don't wear heavy armour (ER of 5 or more) while you have a shield equipped. You can alternate between having a shield and wearing heavy armour as much as you want, as long as you don't have both at the same time.

3. Magic

Have at least 3 of the following spells memorized, with fail rates of 10% or less (excluding brilliance or drain): Orb of Destruction, Ozocubu's Refrigeration, Iron Shot, Invisibility.

You can have LCS instead of Iron Shot, and/or Absolute Zero instead of Ozocubu's Refrigeration, but they still need to be 10% fail or less.

Instead of invisibility, you can have evocable invisibility with 12 evocations or more, as long as you are wearing the +Inv item in your morgue. Alternately you can worship Dithmenos, and have at least 12 invocations and 5* piety in your morgue.

Note that if you worship Ru, certain sacrifices (magic schools) can make it impossible to fulfill this conduct.

Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.

Bonus challenges

1. Master of Life and Death

Reach level 27 in Fighting and any magic school, including Spellcasting.

2. Antique Collector

Exit the dungeon with a figurine of a ziggurat in your inventory.

Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.

Milestones

• Reach XL3.
• Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
• Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
• Collect your first rune.
• Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
• Collect your third rune.
• Win the game.

The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
