Set 16 Week 4 : Lom Lobon, Demon Lord of Forbidden Knowledge

Stoic and inscrutable, Lom Lobon is an ancient demon infamous for his mastery of magic. Rumoured to be the most learned being in the halls of Pandemonium, he is at times sought out by mortal wizards who offer their souls in exchange for the secrets of the arcane. Lacking the terrible wrath present in most demons, Lom Lobon's single eye instead hides a cold, impartial cruelty.

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.

NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.

Cosplay conduct points

1. Armour

Don't use a shield. Reflection amulets are fine.

2. Magic

Don't learn any Fire, Earth, or Poison magic, except for Poisonous Vapours and Mephitic Cloud.

3. Piety

Reach 6* Piety with Sif Muna. You don't have to maintain it, just getting to 6* once is enough.

Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.

Bonus challenges

1. Storm's a-Brewin'

Reach level 27 in either Ice or Air magic, and win the game. (There is no time/experience limit for this challenge.)

2. Enforced Dominion

Kill at least 7 Pandemonium Lords, outside of Ziggurats. Random and unique lords both count, as do Seraphs.

Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.

Milestones

• Reach XL3.
• Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
• Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
• Collect your first rune.
• Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
• Collect your third rune.
• Win the game.

The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
