A powerful, belligerent efreet. (Is there any other kind?)
Species | Background | Gods |
---|---|---|
Djinni / Tengu | Fire Elementalist | Dj of Makhleb or Te of Vehumet |
The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.
NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.
Only train Fighting and Long Blades for weapon skills. You can still use all other weapons.
Be wearing fire dragon scales at the time of your morgue, win or lose. Additionally you must wear fire dragon scales onwards from XL 25 or when you enter Zot, whichever comes first, unless you somehow don't have any.
Always have a Fire Magic skill title, i.e. Fire Magic is always your highest skill. If another skill gets higher, train only Fire Magic until it's the highest again. If you are playing a Djinni, just have Spellcasting as the highest skill at all times.
Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.
Have inner flame on at least 24 enemies at once (using a scroll of immolation is the only practical way to do this) and then cause them all to blow up before the inner flame expires. Conveniently there are 24 Vault Guards at the entrance of V:5, but you can do this anywhere you'd like that has enough enemies.
Exit with the Staff of Dispater in your inventory, obtained by killing Dispater at the bottom of Dis.
Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.
The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
