Set 9 Week 2 : Eustachio the Magnificent
An apprentice summoner with a flowing moustache. He has funny ideas about honour.

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.
NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.
Special Rule or Notes
You can try your luck at a faded altar, but getting Trog or Okawaru disqualifies your game unless you abandon it right away (which will probably kill you).

Cosplay conduct points
- 1. Weapons
Only train Short Blades and Fighting for weapon skills.
- 2. Skills
Always have Summonings as your highest skill, when you have any skill higher than skill level 8. (Only base skill levels apply.) Your Summonings skill has to be at level 8 or higher to qualify for this conduct.
- 3. Magic
Only cast spells that have summoning.
Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.
Bonus challenges
- 1. Honourable Mention
Worship The Shining One, and win the game. Don't use a faded altar for this bonus.
Tip: TSO isn't bad but you lose access to a few summons, including Summon Imp. You might want to delay following him if you find an early altar.
- 2. Moustache Ride
Read a tele right before you go down to the first floor in all of the runed branches. (Do not come back out until after the teleport has activated.) You no longer have to read a tele if the first floor has been cleared.
Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.
Milestones
- Reach XL3.
- Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
- Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
- Collect your first rune.
- Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
- Collect your third rune.
- Win the game.
The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
