Set 7 Week 1 : Norris the Philosopher

A relaxed water cultist with a healthy tan and a soothing voice. He doesn't really care if it is you or he who dies - "both" would probably be the best option. (Norris was removed in 0.19 and readded in 0.31)

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.

NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.

Cosplay conduct points

1. Weapons

Don't use ranged weapons except for stones and nets.

2. Magic

Don't train Conjurations or Necromancy.

3. Evocations

Train Hexes or Evocations to skill level 16 before XL27. Be careful not to sacrifice both to Ru if you want to try this conduct; if you manage to train one to level 16 and then sacrifice that skill, it no longer counts.

Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.

Bonus challenges

1. Ἀποκάλυψις

Any time after getting a rune, reach magenta levels of Drain (50% HP), and then clear the Drain status.

2. Surfing On Sine Waves

Win the game. Any time you're in a rune branch, don't wear any body armour or cast any Transmutations spells that affect your AC (or use any Talisman that affect your AC). You can still cast Ozocubu's Armour though.

You can enter the Abyss at any time, or get banished, but don't get the rune unless you enter without body armour.

If you enter a portal or sub-branch (Crypt) in a rune branch, you can put your armour back on for that area.

Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.

Milestones

• Reach XL3.
• Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
• Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
• Collect your first rune.
• Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
• Collect your third rune.
• Win the game.

The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
