The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.

NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.

Cosplay conduct points

1. Mutation

Malmutate any unique monster. You can do this by hitting them with Irradiate, dispelling an enchantment on them with Yara's Violent Unravelling, hitting them with the Plutonium Sword, and possibly other rare effects such as miscasts.

The malmutate status effect isn't permanent, but you only need to affect the monster with it once. (You don't even need to kill them necessarily.)

Note that undead monsters are not susceptible to being malmutated.

2. Religion

Be worshipping Xom at the end of your game. If you've worshipped other gods this game, they must be mollified.

3. Branch

Enter Pandemonium.

Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.

1. I Only Have Eyes For You

Train Summonings to skill level 27 before XL27. Here are the minimum skill levels per XL needed to reach that target, if you put 100% of your experience into Summonings. Drinking a potion of experience will change these numbers, making you more likely to hit XL27 before reaching the skill target.

2. Chaos A.D.

Worship Ashenzari, Hepliaklqana, Mahkleb, and Xom in the course of the game. Xom must be the last god chosen, must not be abandoned, and must be followed before entering Zot; the others can be followed in any order. You must reach 6* piety with one god before abandoning them, and can only follow each god once.

You get the star once you are following Xom, and all other gods are mollified. Getting the star also gets you the points for the Religion conduct.

Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.

Milestones

• Reach XL3.
• Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
• Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
• Collect your first rune.
• Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
• Collect your third rune.
• Win the game.

The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
